This blog is primarily a diary to help me with my own learning about the Beambox Pro, a low-powered (60W) hobbyist-oriented laser cutter, and my explorations in laser-cut design. I don’t remember much that I don’t write down, and this blog is where I’m doing much of that writing.

This blog is also a response to the absence of information available about the Beambox. There seem to be a lot of Beamboxes out in the world, but only old and fragmentary information about what it’s like to work with one. I didn’t even find a user review on Youtube even though there are reviews for many other laser cutters. So I hope that what I write here helps to answer questions for other people wondering what I was wondering before I bought one.
